Well I got off work @ 12am-It's Monday so sets-

ran loo to the park 10 pullups ran back

dropped off the Loo dog and headed out and around campus

I havent ran longer then 1 hour runs since finger rock trail. I've just felt messed up.
I'm growing concerned wether I'll be able to run Zane grey, @ least the 50. I know I could run the 30, but @ this point the 50 would damage me. I've wanted this one for 2 years now ....well march is my monster month....I should just register for the 50 and finish 30 and maybe I'll blow apart attempting the last 20 miles . maybe I wont. Time heals all wounds.

So friday I had meetings in th morning and then worked from 230pm-1130pm and am due back @ 730 am....fantastic!

Not to complain but I've had some sort of stomach crud for weeks now and was really hoping to get over it without antibiotics but @ this point it's getting to close to my intense month of training. So I may have to go get a script filled :(

sunday got off work @ midnight and went to P's house.
Lotus and I did a quick run, she paced real good and didnt pull or lag behind,we did our loop in 18min25sec97-this usually takes us 20-30minutes because Loo gets real tired after about 10 minutes of running real fast, tonight she paced herself.

So Friday the 15th got off work @ 945pm or so got to P's house and started doing sets.

ran to the park did 10 more pullups then-
from the corner of 4th ave and 1st street headed toward campus (east) to the first parking garage and ran all the flights of stairs up and then ran the long slow way down. From there I headed to park st., took park to 6th st,6th st to campbelll to the mall then ran a lap around the mall back to campbell. Ok then I ran toward speedway and ran along frat row til I reached the first tunnel under speedway ,from there I take helen all the way to the last tunnel then onto campus up the stairs next to the fine arts building and over to park and then 1st street back to fourth ave to P's house. All the while in between blowing snot rockets and splashing in puddles I was silently chanting come get some come get some. Total run time56minutes3seconds01

quickie

So it's wednesday, Sets,

ran lotus to the park did 10 pullups then we ran together for 16min.

I'' working mostly nights the next 8 days til like 1am so I may not get any long runs but will continue getting what ever I can in the time I have.

I was running I swear

Went up to finger rock trail and ran until the terrain got too rough(just past the springs) then I would do 50/50 still taking walk breaks every 10 minutes of running. Then I got my ass handed to me and just started walking. I fell a bunch, probably shouldn't of ran in my road shoes(they are just so soft and squishy). :)

Well I made it to the main junction with the pima canyon trail ran past it for maybe 5 minutes then turned around and headed back. Total run/walk/hike/punishment 3hours50minutes52seconds

Since it monday

25 push otb 50 crunch otb and then I jogged Lotus to the park for 10 pullups then we jogged home.


I have to be awake @ 330am oh god I must eat,sleep, dream, and I should probably take a shower.

all mixed up

Friday mix it up-
Sets-25 pushups- O.ff.T.he.B.all then straight into plyometric holds for 30 seconds 2 positions.

50 crunches otb then ran Loo to the park and did 10 pull ups then ran back to P's saddled up the single speed and we,(P and myself )rode for 1-2 hours then we came back. I went into 25 pushups 50 crunches then again ran Lotus up to the park did 10 more pullups then went for a brisk semi fastpaced 17 minute30 second43 walk

The world waits for you, could you carry me through?

Funny, I just ran the trail all the way to phone line and phone line to the top of the road, took the road back. total time1hr42min56sec. Nice I feel pretty good.
Long runs are nice... I like when I can get my inner voices to shut up. All the negative self talk and problems of day to day life seem to fade away and before I know it I'm not running I'm leaping over the trail, almost flying :)

fun

Started out all the link ups to phone line.
I reached phone line proper and it started to snow bad so I turned around(30min) and headed back to the link for shuttle stop 3 and the picnic area.
I had to wade across thigh deep water to get to the road.
So from there I ran the road out to the end. The water crossings on the road were'nt so bad.
Total time 1hr58min13sec.

50 crunches otb

ran up to the park to do 10 pull ups.

P doesnt have a pullup bar in her house.

quickie

not sure if I can resume training or not....home again,ran the old porch to porch loop 33min01sec.

I really want to run Z.G. just not sure what plans my body has for me. The end of February will tell for sure....off to work.
