Headed up to middle bear picnic area w/ snow climbing gear worked my way thru the trees up a steep snowy gully and ended up below some snow:Icey slabs @ which point I strapped on the crampons and got out the ice ax moderate scrambling 3 class barely 4th but very loose, maybe 2 hours round trip. A little sketchy in spots sliced open the lower leg of my snow pants with my crampons(forgot my gaiters)... All in all a good time

Thursday december 15th Snow play before work,while heading down mountain assisted s.a.r. ,ran up and down hairpin canyon approximately 6? Times.

Went to mt lemon Zane played in the snow for 3 hrs !!! I manages to sneak in a solid 30 minutes of
4/5 th class scrambling in the mountaineering boots.
