Really feeling crappy for a while now.
I've switched back from trying to break my tri-shoes in seeing as my back almost immediatly started acting up again. I'm pretty sure those shoes are playing a part in my back problems.
I've been staying busy, a few hikes , a trip to the Zoo and have gone to the range several times.
Well, I'll be back on a training schedule in march.
I'm allowing myself to exercise whenever in february.
So for today around the block in 10'08"44

tri-cat polar bear splash and dash
O yeah
Splash and dash this morn-very cold and rainy.
my heat started @ 830.
It was a soggy race- my swim and run both felt great today and as an added bonus friends and familly showed up in the freezing rain to cheer me on!

So splits as follows/
swim 825 yards 13'03
transition-2 minutes
run 3.1 miles-25'45
total time 40'48
My swim time dropped by nearly a minute
my transition time was slow-kinda chilled and chatted while I changed clothes.
run was okay-not great but not disturbing or upsetting.
All in all- GREAT LOW KEY EVENT!!!!
